Poland is an ecosystem for startups that have been on the rise for years, creating many top Polish startups. Furthermore, within the European Union, Poland has been one of the least financially impacted countries by the pandemic. A majority of these startups are based in the major cities of Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw, however, there are vibrant companies outside of these areas.

The figures for 2020 investment in Poland reflects this optimism, with a 70% increase in funding. This means that during that year, Polish startups received a total of 477 Million Euros. This is mixed between local investment and a large amount of foreign investment into the country.
