What happened to TaraVault?
TaraVault is gone. Inflectra announced in February 2025 that it was retiring TaraVault, its hosted source code service, and said it would be officially retired by April 2025.
Inflectra launched TaraVault in October 2015 as private Git and Subversion hosting for SpiraTeam and SpiraPlan customers in its cloud. Each project got its own repository, and code commits linked to requirements, tasks and bugs in Spira. From January 2020 it was included free, with unlimited users, in every SpiraTeam and SpiraPlan subscription. Instead of running its own hosting, Inflectra said it would improve Spira's integration with GitHub and GitLab, and it offered migration help to customers in early 2025.
Bottom line: move your repositories to GitHub or GitLab and connect them to Spira. If you do not use Spira, any modern Git host will do.
