The short version
What is Cyotek WebCopy?
Cyotek WebCopy is a free Windows program that scans a website and downloads its pages and files to your computer, so you can browse them offline. It is still available in Nov 2026. The latest stable version is 1.9.1.872 from August 2023, with a 1.10 test build from January 2026.
It remaps links so they point to the local copies, and you control which parts of a site get copied, for example only images. It supports form-based and challenge-based logins. The main limit is JavaScript: WebCopy does not run scripts or build a virtual DOM, so it can miss links that JavaScript creates, and dynamic sites may not work once copied.
Bottom line: a good free choice for copying static or mostly static sites on Windows. For JavaScript-heavy sites, or on Mac or Linux, look at the alternatives below.
