The bigger one is cover for the pager, a sprint with fewer hands, and a manager asking what came back. So the event has to match the job: Kubernetes depth, incident practice, platform design, or hands-on training.
Pass types matter more here than in most fields. At KubeCon, the individual rate is less than half the corporate one. At DevOpsCon, the advertised "from" prices assume a team of three or more. PlatformCon Live Day San Francisco
PlatformCon is the platform engineering conference. Its flagship week runs in June 2027, and every flagship week talk streams live and free. In person, it runs one-day Live Days in several cities. The first 2027 Live Day is San Francisco on February 24.
Best for: Platform teams with a small budget. Engineers who want one focused day in their own city instead of a four-day trip.

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe is the CNCF's flagship conference. In 2027 it is in Barcelona, March 15-18 at Fira Gran Via. Monday is co-located events and project lightning talks. Tuesday to Thursday is keynotes, breakouts and the solutions showcase.
Best for: Platform, SRE and DevOps teams running Kubernetes and cloud native tooling. Maintainers and contributors to CNCF projects. Startups selling to that market.
Dates and city: March 15-18, 2027. Fira Gran Via, North Access, Barcelona. In-person.
What you actually get: Four days of content, with an attendee reception on Tuesday. The 2026 listing cited 13,000+ attendees, 3,600+ organizations and 350+ sessions. Registration is open.

SREcon27 Americas is the USENIX conference for site reliability, April 12-14, 2027 at the Sheraton Grand Seattle. USENIX describes it as a gathering of engineers who care deeply about site reliability.
Best for: SREs, on-call leads and infrastructure engineers who want talks on operations, incidents and reliability practice.

DevOpsCon London is a five-day training conference for CI/CD, Kubernetes and platform work. June 7-11, 2027 at Park Plaza Victoria London, with a remote option. Monday is a workshop day, Tuesday and Wednesday are conference days, Thursday and Friday are a bootcamp.
Best for: Teams with a training budget that want hands-on workshops as well as talks. Managers sending three or more engineers.

DevOpsCon Munich runs November 30 to December 4, 2026, with on-site and remote tickets listed on the DevOpsCon homepage.

DevOpsCon Berlin appears on the DevOpsCon homepage for June 14-18, 2027. The Berlin page itself still shows the 2026 edition (conference days June 16-17 at the Maritim ProArte Hotel) and says 2027 dates will be announced soon.
