A .NET team usually gets one training trip a year, and it has to cover a new runtime, a new C# version and whatever changed in ASP.NET since last spring. The hard part is not finding an event. It is matching the format to the budget line. Some events sell workshop days and talk days separately. Others sell whole-week packages priced like training courses.
For 2027, three in-person .NET weeks already have exact dates and public prices on the organizer’s site. They are priced in pounds, dollars and kroner, and two of them add VAT on top of the listed figure. Each section below says what the starting pass covers and when the price steps up.

NDC London
NDC London opens the year in Westminster. Five days at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre: two workshop days, then three conference days. In-person. The organizer bills it as a 5-day event for software developers, so the agenda covers more than .NET.
Best for: .NET developers and architects in the UK, or a short flight away, who want a workshop and a broad talk program in one week.
Dates and city: January 25-29, 2027. Workshops January 25-26. Conference January 27-29. Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster, London. In-person.
What you actually get: The Conference Pass is sold as 1, 2 or 3 conference days. The Workshop Pass covers the two workshop days. The All Access Pass covers all five days.
Notable limitations:
- 20% VAT is added to every ticket type, so a one-day pass is 1,260 GBP after tax.
- The tickets page lists no early bird tier. The current prices are the ones to budget.
- Workshops and talks on a single ticket means the All Access Pass at 2,490 GBP before VAT.
Tickets: Conference Pass from 1,050 GBP (1, 2 or 3 days, January 27-29). Workshop Pass 1,650 GBP (January 25-26). All Access Pass 2,490 GBP. 20% VAT is added to all ticket types.
Should I buy one conference day or three?
Buy one day if two or three specific talks are the reason to go. Buy the Workshop Pass if a trainer-led day is the point. All Access only pays off if you will attend all five days.
VSLive! Las Vegas
Visual Studio Live! Las Vegas is a US .NET and Visual Studio training conference sold as day packages rather than single tickets. Five days at Planet Hollywood: a hands-on lab on Monday, sessions Tuesday to Thursday, workshops on Friday. In-person.
Best for: US-based .NET and Visual Studio developers who want lab and workshop days, and teams spending a training budget rather than an events budget.
Dates and city: March 22-26, 2027. Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas. In-person.
What you actually get: You choose the days by choosing the package. Monday is the Hands-On Lab. Tuesday to Thursday are the conference days. Friday is workshops. The pricing page asks you to book the hotel early before it sells out.
Notable limitations:
- The 3-day package covers Tuesday to Thursday only. The Monday lab and Friday workshops cost extra.
- Prices step up after December 18, January 15, February 19 and March 22.
- The pricing page lists no student rate.
Tickets: 3 Day Tue-Thu $1,825 until January 15, then $1,925 until February 19, then $2,125 standard. 4 Day Tue-Fri + Friday Workshops from $2,225. 5 Day Mon-Fri package from $2,725. Single days: Hands-On Lab Monday from $700, Workshop Friday $650.
NDC Oslo
NDC Oslo is the early-summer edition of the NDC series, from the same organizer as NDC London. Five days at Oslo Spektrum, with workshop days and conference days sold as separate passes. In-person.
Best for: Nordic and European .NET teams, and anyone who prefers the NDC format in June rather than January.
Dates and city: May 31-June 4, 2027. Oslo Spektrum, Oslo. In-person.
What you actually get: 1, 2 and 3-day conference passes, a 2-day workshop pass and an All Access Pass. Hotel packages are offered with the All Access, 3-day conference and 2-day workshop passes.
Notable limitations:
- 25% VAT (MVA) is added to all ticket types.
- The tickets page does not say which of the five days are workshop days. Check the agenda before buying a single day.
- Prices are in NOK, so a euro or dollar budget moves with the exchange rate.
Tickets: 1-Day Conference Pass 12,490 NOK at Blind Bird (ends 18 December), 12,990 NOK at Early Bird (ends 19 February), 15,990 NOK regular. 3-Day Conference Pass from 16,490 NOK. 2-Day Workshop Pass from 14,490 NOK. All Access Pass from 22,490 NOK. 25% VAT is added to all of them.

.NET Conf 2026 runs online November 10-13, 2026, 8AM-5PM PST. November 10-11 are Product Team Days and November 12-13 are Community Days. Free. Community groups can host local .NET Conf events through January 15, 2027.
VSLive! Orlando runs November 15-20, 2026 at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, as part of Live! 360 Tech Con. Cheapest conference package: 3-Day Conference (Tuesday-Thursday) at $2,125, the standard rate for registrations by November 15.
Other .NET conferences worth considering
Techorama ran May 11-13, 2026 at Kinepolis Antwerp, with workshops on the first day and sessions on the next two. 2027 dates are not on the official site yet.
NDC Toronto ran May 5-8, 2026 at The Westin Harbour Castle. The NDC worldwide events list does not show a 2027 Toronto edition yet.
.NET Conf has no 2027 dates yet. The 2026 edition is listed above. Watch the same site for the next one.

We listed the established in-person .NET events whose 2027 edition has exact dates on the organizer’s site. A missing price would not have excluded an event. Dates and prices were checked on the organizers’ sites on 5 November 2026. The From column shows the cheapest published ticket into the main talks, with VAT status as the site states it. Events that are dated but still ahead in 2026 are listed separately.

NDC London or NDC Oslo?
Same series, different month and currency. London is January 25-29, 2027, with a Conference Pass from 1,050 GBP plus 20% VAT. Oslo is May 31-June 4, 2027, with a 1-day pass from 12,490 NOK plus 25% VAT. Pick the city you can reach and the month your budget allows.
Can I buy a single day at VSLive! Las Vegas?
Yes, for the bookend days. Hands-On Lab Monday starts at $700 and Workshop Friday is $650. The Tuesday to Thursday conference days come as a 3-day package from $1,825.
Are there student or community discounts?
The NDC tickets pages and the VSLive! Las Vegas pricing page do not list student prices. Ask the organizer directly if you need one.
Is .NET Conf on the 2027 calendar?
Not yet. The 2026 edition is online November 10-13, 2026 and free. Microsoft’s site does not list 2027 dates.
Is Techorama happening in 2027?
The official site still shows the 2026 edition, May 11-13 in Antwerp. It does not list 2027 dates yet.
Bottom line
For a workshop plus talks in Europe, choose NDC London in January or NDC Oslo in June, and add VAT before you compare. For a US training budget with lab and workshop days, choose VSLive!
