Best Fintech Conferences in 2027

A fintech startup needs three things before it can grow: a sponsor bank, a processor that will take it on, and a few investors who understand licensing. Those people rarely sit in one place. A conference is often the fastest way to meet all three in a week.

This page covers the startup and payments side of the calendar. Some events are built around booked meetings, some around live product demos, some around a large exhibition. For bank and CFO events such as Sibos and the AFP forums, see our finance conferences page.

For each event we give the 2027 dates, the city, and the starting pass from the organizer's site. Where a 2027 price is not public, the table says Not announced. Confirm the live figure before you pay. Our method is on How we review tools.

Fintech Meetup

Fintech Meetup is a Las Vegas event built around pre-booked meetings. It returns to The Venetian Resort for three days in February 2027. In-person.

Best for: Fintechs, solution providers, startups and investors, the groups the organizer lists. Founders who would rather book meetings than walk an exhibition.

Dates and city: February 22-24, 2027 (Monday to Wednesday). The Venetian Resort, Las Vegas. In-person. Official hotel page.

What you actually get: A meetings programme. The organizer reports 50,000 meetings and 1,000+ CEOs and founders. A 2027 brochure and agenda are linked from the official site.

Notable limitations:

  • The Startups pass has two limits: under five years old and under $50M raised. Older or larger fintechs pay the $2,950 general rate.
  • Meetings are the point. If you do not set them up ahead of time, you get much less out of it.

Tickets: Startups pass $1,650, for fintechs under five years old that have raised under $50M. General pass $2,950 for fintechs, investors and solution providers. $1,500 for media and research, public sector, students and professors. Qualified banks, credit unions and retailers can get free hosted passes.

FinovateSpring

FinovateSpring is a demo-led fintech conference. Companies show their product live on stage in short slots. The 2027 edition runs three days in San Diego in May. In-person.

Best for: Fintech startups that want to demo to bank and credit union buyers. Bank innovation teams scouting vendors in one sitting.

Dates and city: May 3-5, 2027. Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, San Diego. In-person. The Conference Day is May 5. All-Access passes cover all three days.

What you actually get: Short live product demos on stage, plus networking. Demoing is a separate application from attending.

Notable limitations:

  • A pass does not get you on stage. Demo companies apply separately.
  • The Day Pass covers May 5 only. The price for fintechs and vendors rises to $1,799 after November 6, 2026.

Tickets: Fintechs and solution providers: Conference Day Pass (May 5) $1,399, $1,799 after November 6, 2026. All-Access, 3 days, $3,098 ($3,698 later). Banks, insurers and investors: Day Pass $1,099 ($1,499 later), All-Access $1,998 ($2,598 later). Demo slots: apply to demo.

Money20/20 Europe

Money20/20 Europe is the European edition of the payments show. Three days at the RAI in Amsterdam in June 2027. In-person.

Best for: Payments, open banking and banking-infrastructure startups selling to European banks and merchants. Teams with partner meetings already lined up.

Dates and city: June 8-10, 2027. RAI, Amsterdam. In-person. Official event page.

What you actually get: A standard pass, or specialised passes you apply for, through the official pass picker. The home page advertises a launch rate that saves 1,200€.

Notable limitations:

  • Specialised passes need an application. Read the criteria first.
  • The launch rate ends Friday, November 6, 2026. After that the Standard Pass is 3,895€ plus tax.

Tickets: Standard Pass 2,695€ plus 21% sales tax at the launch rate, to November 6, 2026. Full rate 3,895€. Regional and Community Bank Pass 1,599€ plus tax. Other specialised passes: apply through the pass picker.

Should a seed-stage fintech go to Money20/20 Europe?

Go if you already have meetings booked with banks or merchants. Without them, Fintech Meetup is the event designed around setting up meetings.

FinovateFall

FinovateFall is the New York edition of Finovate. Three days in September 2027. In-person. Same demo-led format as the spring show.

Best for: East Coast fintechs and bank innovation teams. Startups that missed the spring demo window.

Dates and city: September 13-15, 2027. Marriott Marquis Times Square, New York. In-person. Official site. The FinovateAwards are online on September 10, 2027.

What you actually get: Short live product demos on stage, plus networking.

Notable limitations:

  • As in spring, demoing and attending are separate.
  • It is the same organizer and format as FinovateSpring. Most teams pick one.

Tickets: Not announced. The ticket page still shows 2026 packages. Demo slots: apply to demo.

Other fintech conferences worth considering

Money20/20 Asia runs April 27-29, 2027 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. Standard Pass USD599. A Qualifying Country Pass costs USD299. We kept one Money20/20 show in the table.

Money20/20 USA runs October 19-21, 2027 in Las Vegas. It moves to the Las Vegas Convention Center and Resorts World. The home page lists no pass price yet.

Money20/20 Middle East runs September 14-16, 2027 at RECC in Malham, Saudi Arabia. No pass price on the home page.

Paris Fintech Forum has no 2027 dates on its official site yet.

CTO Craft Con: Fintech runs November 9-10, 2027 in London. It is aimed at technology leaders in fintech, not founders raising money.

How we picked these conferences

We listed fintech events whose 2027 edition has exact dates on the organizer's own site, then chose the ones most useful to startups and payments teams. A missing price did not exclude an event. To cover more organizers, we kept one Money20/20 edition in the table and listed the others below it. Dates and prices were checked on the organizers' sites on 5 Nov 2026. "Not announced" means no 2027 price has been published.
