What is Resurrect Pages?

Resurrect Pages is a free, open-source Firefox add-on. When a page is down or gone, it opens a saved copy from a web archive in a click or two.

Anthony Lieuallen builds and maintains it, and it is still updated: version 10 came out on 20 October 2026. You open it from the right-click menu, the toolbar, or Ctrl+Shift+U, then pick an archive: the Internet Archive, archive.is, Ghost Archive, the Australian Web Archive or WebCite. WebCite stopped taking new pages in 2019 and is often offline, so the other four do most of the work.

Bottom line: if you use Firefox and often hit dead links, install it. It costs nothing. It can only show copies an archive already saved, so new or obscure pages may have nothing to show.
