Hardware is slow and costly to change, so meeting the right supplier or reviewer early can save months. A founder launching a gadget needs press and buyers. An engineer choosing parts needs component suppliers. A chip designer needs papers and other designers. These groups mostly go to separate events.
This page lists hardware and chip conferences with official 2027 dates. For each one you get the city, the venue and the lowest listed price for a ticket that includes the main program. electronica, which runs in November 2026, has its own section. If an organizer has not posted 2027 prices, the table says Not announced.
Several prices step up on fixed dates, so confirm the live figure at checkout. The method is on How we review tools.

CES
CES is the consumer technology trade show run by the Consumer Technology Association. It runs four days across several venues in Las Vegas. In-person.
Best for: Hardware startups launching a consumer product. Teams that want press and buyers to see their product. Founders tracking what competitors launch.
Dates and city: January 6-9, 2027. Las Vegas, across several venues. In-person.
What you actually get: The Standard Pass covers the exhibit floor, keynotes, Great Minds sessions and select conference sessions. The Premium Pass adds all conference sessions and tracks, a pre-show planning webinar and partner programming.
Notable limitations:
- CES is trade-only. You must be 18 or older and work in the consumer tech industry. Registration is reviewed.
- The Standard Pass more than doubles after November 30.
- Credentials are collected at remote pickup locations, not at one hall. Plan for that on day one.
Tickets: Standard Pass $149 through November 30, then $349 from December 1 to January 9. Premium Pass $1,450 through November 30, then $1,750. Paid registrations cancelled in writing by December 9, 2026 are refunded less a $50 fee.
Can anyone buy a CES ticket?
No. The organizer says CES is a trade-only event for people 18 or older who work in the consumer technology industry. You need industry or media credentials, and registration is reviewed for approval.
ISSCC
The IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference, ISSCC, is a yearly circuit design conference in San Francisco. It runs five days at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. In-person. Registration opens November 23, 2026.
Best for: Chip and circuit designers. Semiconductor startups hiring analog, RF or digital designers. Hardware leads following silicon research.
Dates and city: February 14-18, 2027. San Francisco Marriott Marquis. In-person.
What you actually get: The main conference registration covers all 200+ technical papers. IEEE members get a discount, and IEEE and Solid-State Circuits Society members get a further $30 credit.
Notable limitations:
- It is a technical paper conference, not a product show.
- Fees step up after January 10 and again after January 25. No refunds after January 25, 2027.
- Member rates need an IEEE login check.
Tickets: Conference registration covers all technical papers. Early rate, to January 10, 2027 at 11:59 PM EST: IEEE member $800, non-member $1,120, student $400 (IEEE member) or $565.
