A Java developer asking for one conference trip in 2027 has to answer a budget question first: which days are you paying for? Java events split their program into deep-dive, training and conference days, and price each part on its own. Two passes with the same event name can cover very different weeks.
Spring is crowded. Stockholm, Rust, Redwood City, Atlanta and Paris all fall between February 8 and April 9, 2027. Devoxx Belgium is the autumn option. This page lists each one with its dates, venue, and the cheapest ticket that gets you into the main talks, with the VAT line as the organizer shows it.

Jfokus
Jfokus describes itself as Sweden's largest developer conference, with a focus on Java, AI/ML, DevOps and emerging technologies. Three days in Stockholm in February. In-person.
Best for: Java developers in the Nordics and Northern Europe. Teams who want a hands-on day plus two conference days in one trip.
Dates and city: February 8-10, 2027. Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre, Stockholm. Deep Dive and Hands-on Labs on Monday February 8. Conference days Tuesday and Wednesday, February 9-10.
What you actually get: Monday is deep dives and hands-on labs. Tuesday and Wednesday are the conference days. You can buy each part on its own or all three days together.
Notable limitations:
- Prices exclude Swedish VAT.
- It is the first Java event of 2027, so budget approval has to happen soon.
- The Deep Dive Day ticket is cheaper but does not include the conference days.

JavaLand
JavaLand is a German Java conference held inside the Europa-Park theme park in Rust. Two conference days and a training day. In-person, with an on-demand option. The site is in German.
Best for: Java developers and architects in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Teams of ten or more, who get a group rate.
Dates and city: March 2-4, 2027. Europa-Park, Rust, Germany. Conference March 2-3. Training day (Schulungstag) March 4.
What you actually get: Two conference days, plus an optional training day. A combined pass also covers DevLand. An on-demand ticket gives one year of online access to the talks.
Notable limitations:
- Prices exclude 19% German VAT.
- The early-bird rate ends January 13, 2027. The regular 2-day price shown is 1,350€.

JavaOne
JavaOne is Oracle's Java conference. The 2027 edition runs three days in Redwood City, California. In-person.
Best for: Java developers and architects who want Oracle's own view of the platform. Companies sending three or more people, who get a group rate.
Dates and city: March 23-25, 2027. Redwood City, California. The main page and the FAQ give the city but not a venue name.
What you actually get: Three days. A General attendee pass, an Alumni pass for 2025 and 2026 attendees, a Group pass, and a Public sector pass with or without the JavaOne Party.
Notable limitations:
- The general price steps up on fixed dates: $699 until January 4, $799 from January 5 to February 15, $899 from February 16.
- No student pass is listed.
- The venue is not listed on the official pages.
Tickets: General attendee $699 until January 4, then $799, then $899 from February 16. Alumni $599 until February 15, for 2025 and 2026 attendees. Group $599 per person for three or more passes from one company. Public sector $499 with the JavaOne Party, $449 without.
Is the JavaOne group pass worth it?
If three or more people from your company are going, it costs less. It is $599 per person, below the lowest General attendee rate of $699, and is on sale until March 25, 2027.
Devnexus
Devnexus is a Java-focused developer conference in Atlanta. One training day, then two conference days at the Georgia World Congress Center. In-person.
Best for: Java developers in the US Southeast and East Coast. Teams who want an optional training day before the talks.
Dates and city: March 29-31, 2027. Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta. Training day March 29. Conference days March 30-31.
What you actually get: The conference pass covers March 30-31, meals and beverages, two happy hours and a raffle entry. The three-day pass adds the March 29 training day.
Notable limitations:
- The early-bird price is listed as available until November 12. The regular two-day price shown is $675.
- No student ticket is listed.
- It starts four days after JavaOne. Doing both means a cross-country flight between them.

Devoxx France
Devoxx France is the Paris edition of the Devoxx developer conference. 2027 is its 15th edition, at the Palais des Congrès. Three days. In-person.
Best for: Java developers in France and nearby countries. Teams who want to choose between one, two or three days.
Dates and city: April 7-9, 2027. Palais des Congrès, Paris. Wednesday April 7 is sold on its own. Thursday and Friday are sold as a pair.
What you actually get: Each day opens with keynotes at 9:00. Formats run from 15-minute talks to 45-minute conferences and 3-hour sessions. A community evening is on Thursday. The 2027 day-by-day program is not published yet.
Notable limitations:
- The table shows the one-day Wednesday ticket. For the Thursday and Friday conference days, the pass is 620€ before VAT.
- Prices on the ticket site are shown before VAT (HT).
- No student rate is listed on the ticket site.

Devoxx Belgium
Devoxx Belgium runs five days at Kinepolis Antwerp, a cinema complex. It is the only autumn event on this page. In-person.
Best for: Java teams who cannot travel in spring, and anyone who wants five days of sessions in one place.
Dates and city: October 4-8, 2027. Kinepolis Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium.
What you actually get: Five days at one venue. Ticket types for 2027 are not published yet.
Notable limitations:
- Registration opens August 16, 2027. Prices are not announced.
- With registration in August, the price will not be known until late in the budget year.

Other Java conferences worth considering
Devoxx UK has no confirmed 2027 edition. The official site asks people to sign up if they would like Devoxx UK to return in 2027. Its listed venue is the Business Design Centre in London.
JavaZone 2026 ran September 2-3 at Nova Spektrum in Lillestrøm, Norway. 2027 dates are not on the official site yet.
Devoxx Poland 2026 ran June 17-19 at ICE Kraków Congress Centre. The conference-only ticket was 2,199 PLN plus 23% VAT. The site does not show 2027 dates yet.

We kept the major Java-focused conferences whose 2027 edition has exact dates on the organizer's site, and applied that test to each candidate. Missing prices did not exclude an event, which is why Devoxx Belgium is in the table. Dates and prices were checked on the organizers' sites on 5 Nov 2026. The "From" column shows the cheapest ticket into the main talks, with the VAT note the organizer uses. "Not announced" means no 2027 price is published yet.

Which Java conference should I pick in 2027?
For Oracle's platform roadmap, JavaOne. In the US Southeast, Devnexus. In the Nordics, Jfokus in February. In German-speaking Europe, JavaLand in March. In France, Devoxx France in April. If spring does not work, Devoxx Belgium in October.
What happened to Devoxx UK?
There is no 2027 date. The official site asks people to sign up to show support for a 2027 edition. Until the organizer announces one, do not plan a London Devoxx trip.
Can I do JavaOne and Devnexus on one trip?
On the calendar, yes. JavaOne is March 23-25 in Redwood City and Devnexus is March 29-31 in Atlanta. That is a cross-country flight and close to a week away. Most teams will pick one.
Why does the Devoxx France row show a one-day ticket?
The table shows the cheapest ticket into the main talks. Wednesday-only is 280€ before VAT and includes the day's keynotes and sessions. The Thursday and Friday pass is 620€ and all three days are 770€, both before VAT.
Are there student or online options?
None of the shortlisted ticket pages list a student ticket. JavaLand sells an on-demand ticket at 280€ plus VAT. JavaOne has group and public sector passes.
